Last year’s edition of 3music awards was a good one but it looks like the organisers of the scheme took everything a step higher this year. Despite the fact that the show happened to be virtual once again, the board and the organisers didn’t rest on their laurels; they managed to pull Boomplay,Africa’s largest music streaming and download service, with some support from Nasco electronics Ghana. Apparently, their partnership with Boomplay enhanced the whole show causing so many people on social media to react to the quality of production in every aspect of the awards night.
Lots of people on social media who enjoyed the show have predicted that 3music awards will soon become the country’s most prestigious and biggest music awards show which I strongly believe can happen, looking at the investment the team is putting in their scheme. Congratulations to the franchise holder and CEO of 3music awards, Mr.Sadiq Abdulai Abu, for this great show which looks like a standard set for VGMA to hit.
People just can’t stop discussing the production set designs used to make this virtual show a fun to enjoy from home. Lightning and sound too were on point. We are looking forward to having the audience back to increase the appeal of 3music awards with their presence. One more thing I realised is that the new artistes have embraced the scheme and are ready to grow along with it. Their performances were mind-blowing; from Yawtog to Gyakie to Jamal,Larusso, they did well. The introduction of Nana Acheampong was a big surprise to us but it was a smart move by the organisers; he took us back to the 90s.
3music has really lifted the bar and we expect greater things from them in the upcoming editions.
